About Mocky
Mocky Khan
Your Parliamentary candidate for Didcot & Wantage
Mocky has lived in Didcot for over ten years with his family, and has long been a passionate campaigner on the climate emergency, education, protecting the NHS, supporting the local economy, and supporting young people in fulfilling their potential.
As a Didcot Town and District Councillor, Mocky is leading the way in urging the speedy delivery of desperately needed doctors’ surgeries, dentists, leisure facilities, better connections between villages and towns, cycle lanes, and affordable housing.
Within Didcot, Mocky was instrumental in the building of a new sports pavilion and splash park at Edmonds Park, and saved King Alfred Drive Community Centre from closure.
Mocky is a Chartered Marketer and GMB union member, a governor of Didcot Girls’ School, and a trustee of and volunteer for a number of local groups and charities, including Play2Give and Didcot Community Kitchen.
In his spare time, Mocky loves watching all types of sport, cooking, exploring the Thames Vale, and continuing his PhD research into young Muslim millennials, diversity and inclusion.
Mocky is very proud to be the Labour Parliamentary candidate for Didcot and Wantage. After fourteen years of disastrous Conservative government, he is the only candidate who can effect real change while fully representing local businesses and residents. Mocky will deliver for Didcot and Wantage, so please vote for him on 4th July 2024!
